What is the RAPID3?
RAPID3 (Routine Assessment of Patient Index Data 3) is a disease activity index that is calculated from a short and simple questionnaire.
Three different categories are considered:
- Physical abilities
- Pain assessment
- Personal assessment
RAPID3 is not intended to manage or treat RA and should always be used in conjunction with the advice of a treating physician.
Your score can help your rheumatologist understand the effects of RA on your daily life. Completing the RAPID3 before your next appointment can help your rheumatologist assess the severity of your RA, so you can spend more time discussing your plan for the future.
